A Few New Things I Learned About Google Voice Today

I have been using #Google Voice since the spring of 2008 (when it was still #GrandCentral, which has a way nicer interface). It has saved me a lot of cash over those years.

It has also allowed me to give out one number which can call up to 5 other numbers (follow me system). It has been extremely useful to say the least. Though it is far from perfect. :)

I really wish when they took over GrandCentral that they would have kept the interface and all the same tools, it was sooo much better than.

So what did I learn new today?

1. You cannot add the same number to more than one Google Voice account. This is a real bummer as I have one setup for personal and another for the new business my partner @LarryRivera and I are creating.

Apparently they use to let you do this but no longer. Why they take away the good features is beyond me!

I will let you know if I come up with any free or cheap solutions to this. One friend @JasonDandridge recommended getting a #Skype Incoming Number.

2. I learned that you can conference with up to 3 other people and record it. This is great for when you need to have a small business conference or don't have 3-way calling enabled on your home phone.

See how to easily use Google Voice's Conference Call here:

http://www.groovypost.com/howto/google/google-voice-conference-calls-free/

If you ever need to do a teleconference for more people say 250+ for free... Then I suggest another gem I have been using since 2008 too (good year for finding valuable free tools for me apparently, lol) which is www.TalkShoe.com.

If you ever want to know a tool that is either insanely cheap or free yet still works totally great, then just ask me... Chances are I already know a solution or can find one for you. I love researching and saving $$$.

Is Mint The Best Free Way To Manage Your Money?

Good question, one I have been wondering for almost a year and I am FINALLY starting to investigate on.

Mint is a free budgeting tool that allows you to manage your cash, set goals and take a good look at where your money is going each month.

Have you used #Mint? If so what do you think?

If you have never used Mint.com before, what do you use to keep track of your money, transactions and over all budget?

Do you use something different for personal and business, if so what for what?

I think I am going to use @Mint for personal and maybe setup a second account for my business as well.

Though I am not sure I will need one for the biz end since I have a system for our business that covers invoices, time tracking, client management, accounting, etc.

Let me know what you think!

I found this site when looking for #inspiration on #color combos. This is either a blessing or evil... Maybe a little of both? I will have to keep myself in check time wise as for a creative designer this is like what Facebook is to networkers! @ColourLovers unite here => http://www.colourlovers.com/lover/JamiePelaez

AHleleuYAH! Still sick a bit, but feeling awesome! Started off a new routine that will become a lifestyle. Started the day early with praise & dancing worship and some scripture reading. If you want to feel energetic and filled with love and joy even when your body is telling you that you are still sick, this is certainly the remedy :) Imagine the non-sick days! I have got more done in 3 hours than I normally do in double the amount. Even little Miss Jaya was ready to help and clean this morning. Loving it, wish we would have done this sooner. Schedules rock especially when they begin and center around YAHUWAH! How are you today may friend? I pray you rejoice as today is another day YaHuWaH that He has made and given you breath!

AHleleuYAH! Thank you YaHuWaH and His Ruach for getting me up and encouraging me to go on The Word of Yah Men's Webinar. You have answered my diligent prayers. You are always faithful and amazing.

Thank you YaHuWaH for this beautiful Shabbat that you have made. I have already learned so much today. I don't want to do anything that does not align with Your Word. I ask Father that you reveal your purpose for my life and give to me a clear path to take... I already know I must abandon the career path I have chosen as it takes too much time away from truly serving You. Can I take on this new business venture and still have more than adequate time to study Your Word & to share it as I feel in my spirit You have been calling me to do for the past year? Or will this business only suck my time dry and serve You not? Do I need to abandon traditional work to be able to do what I know You are calling me to do? If not, show me how to structure my time to do both. Reveal to me the purpose You created me for.

Sooo... Even though I deleted all the phishing posts from when my account got hacked... Somehow they stayed on other people's walls on Facebook. Pretty big flaw on FB's part & defeats the purpose of trying to do damage control. Just as an FYI, I will never send out a Happy New Year on or shortly after Jan. 1st as it is not the real new year, nor will I send a Merry Christmas, Happy Halloween, Happy Easter, Happy Valentine, Happy Thanksgiving, etc. As I do not celebrate man made and/or Pagan holidays. I celebrate YaHuWaH's feasts/appointed times that are in the scriptures that we are commanded to keep & I joyfully do! Nor will I ever send out how to get a free ipad, iphone, cheap pharmaceuticals, etc. You can always hover over a link and see in the lower left corner of your browser where the hyper link is really going to and that usually will tell you right away if it is a phishing scam or not. Still perplexed at how this happened when I am so careful. Sorry again my friends!

Hey if you got some strange message about a free ipad from me, it wasn't from me. I am deleting the posts right now manually one by one, please do the same and if you clicked the link, make sure to change your password ASAP. I am not sure how this happened since I am ultra cautious and aware of phishing scams. Would love to know the how on this one, pretty freaked out about it. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone! Thank you @laurelea for asking me if I sent it. I always do the same thing when I get weird stuff, it's the only way others find out. The buddy system!
