We enjoyed celebrating Hanukkah. We’ve always recognized it as an important time. However this year we studied more, prayed prayers of old, ordered a 7 branch menorah from Israel that didn’t make it in time... Improvised with this DIY one created in blue and white for under $5 and enjoyed some traditional foods. We enjoyed dedicating more time to The Most High during this feast of dedication. It has been a great reminder just how much we need to slow down and enjoy the moments, love more and to purify our temples on the regular. Gotta love the #synchronicity as I posted about doing Qigong for a week straight on this same day in 2014, 3 years ago. I created daily #Qigong, #TaiChi and #COREtraining challenges for @enter.shaolin on 8/1/17 to help myself and others to stay motivated to take care of our #temple daily. Today started my second week, I have not missed a session! We had some chuckles this morning as the weather is almost Spring like today. Jaya was all dressed up for her spelling bee which I was suppose to be attending at 1:45. But just saw I missed a call from her 2 hours ago letting me know they changed the time to 9am. Seriously not cool school, not cool! Apparently my phone was on mute.
