Back on the road. Keeping our spirits high. While we are sad and it feels surreal that we are going to NC to plan my mom’s funeral... Instead of planning to hike the mountains and explore the waterfalls... We know she is at peace. We know she would want us to smile, laugh and remember all the good times. Sure we will cry some more, sure we will have moments of sadness, however we will honor her spirit the most by not allowing those moments to control us. Instead we choose to be our best selves while living life to the fullest. We will do all the things we planned to do together knowing she will be there in spirit cheering us on all the way. Love you!
