It's our 6th Anniversary and another very special day!

I cannot even believe it has been 6 years since Chaz and me have been together. Sadly there has been more bad times than good. I will say this year has been one of the better, but still has a long way to go to a fulfilling and functional marriage. Thankfully as each day passes he is coming closer to realizing just how much he needs YaHuWaH in his life and just how important it is that we live according to His Word so we can have a happy family and life in general. The more Chaz lets go of the bad, the better things get. I look forward to the day he truly accepts all of the truth and hungers for more of it. When I get the courage to, I plan on writing out a lot of our trials and tribulations because I know some one somewhere out there will benefit from such writing and transparency.

What we did not know when we got married on October 15, 2004 in the courthouse in Fayetteville, NC was the significance of October 15th. Nor would we realize that day what the following year on that same day would mean to us. That there would be no celebrating our first year together because there was nothing but pain to celebrate in more ways than one.

For those that don't know October 15th, is the official Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. We lost our first child Ayden on October 6th, 2005 he was full-term stillborn. It's one of the very strange/odd events of that whole year pertaining to Ayden. So many warning signs in the spiritual realm existed but I was too wrapped up in the pain of our failing relationship to see all the warning signs. If we would have done some research, we would have never chosen Oct. 15th to get married even though we would have had no way to know that day in 2004, the following October 15 and every one thereafter would be a very bittersweet reminder of losing our Ayden.

In October 1988, President Ronald Reagan Proclaimed October as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. "When a child loses his parent, they are called an orphan. When a spouse loses her or his partner, they are called a widow or widower. When parents lose their child, their isn't a word to describe them. This month recognizes the loss so many parents experience across the United States and around the world. It is also meant to inform and provide resources for parents who have lost children due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, stillbirths, birth defects, SIDS, and other causes."

So, if you know someone (friends and family hurt over loses too) or are someone who as lost a little one, light a candle tonight for that little angel and say a prayer and know while I understand why you ache to hold them once more, they are in the best hands that exist. If you ever want to talk about your loss or a family member's loss, I am here for you. You can comment back here, email me or skype me: jamie.pelaez

What an exhausting day it has been emotionally and because of it I feel it physically too! Been out most of the day getting a car replacement since we have been officially deemed carless as of last Friday. No public transportation and low on funds put us in a position to have no choice but to get something financed. I am not too happy about that as I prefer to buy vehicles paid in full. The plus is it will help my credit score and we didn't get ripped off. The negative is I have to pay more in insurance, now I have a car payment for 2 years (which I will make sure is more like 1 year) and because we had to go with a smaller dealer and the banks were closed today we have to wait to get our car till Wednesday. The funny part is I am getting the same year as my last financed car... A 2004 and the truck that just died on us happens to be the same color the car we ended up with is... Purple. No it's not my favorite color, but it is nice too. Shalom & blessings! http://bit.ly/ahIqAI

The Fernandez's & their crew just left to go home. It was so fun having them over for Jaya's 4th Birthday (10/10/10). The guys actually cooked for the women and even did some dishes, how sweet! Just realized our camera was still on Chaz's work setting (3mp instead of 12mp) so the pics did not come out as nice as they should have. :( Will get to grab some more tomorrow.Ralph's wife Annette and I bonded of some good Gospel music and found out we have a lot to share and will be doing so very soon. Jaya our princess had a blast, she loves getting to hang with her buddy Chris which does not happen near enough. We did not even have time to make the cake, so guess what??? We will extend our fun tomorrow!I'll be writing a blog post, but just wanted to let the world know that I am so grateful for my little princess that was hand picked by YaHuWaH and her big brother Ayden. Mami loves you so much and you help brighten each and every day. XOXO http://bit.ly/aDme4Z

Just talked to Chaz, he has been at the VA Hospital in Durham all day. He switched because he felt the care was better than at the Fayetteville VA. He was right, they are taking his complaints seriously & looked at his last EKG which was several years ago & let him know he has dead heart tissue which indicates he may have had a minor heart attack or several. His previous doctors should have already addressed this with him & put him through more tests, which they did neither! Also, found out his chest pains he gets sometimes are related to this, I always tell him to get them checked out, & he has tried but his previous doctors have tried to tell him that it was nothing to worry about. Yeah right! Now he has a heart murmur which he has probably had for years as well.We won't know the full scope of everything until all his tests come back. His next appointment is in a month. I am really upset at his prior doctor's for dropping the ball and not taking him seriously. http://bit.ly/alVuic

To My Angel Born Asleep, My Dear Ayden

Today marks a very sad day for us, well really the 5th and the 6th of #October as we went to the hospital on October 5th 2005 to find out our baby boy was dead. He was born #stillborn on the 6th. It was and still is the hardest thing I have ever been through and still effects me deeply even 5 years later. Some days it feels like it was just yesterday, while others it feels like it has been so long since I got to see him and hold his breathless body, wondering what I did to deserve him being gone. I have learned so many things good and bad from that event and am still learning from him and that point in time.

What I am up to on 10/06/10

Working on a blog post to commemorate my #AngelBaby son #Ayden. Today he would have been 5 years old. Got the post done, now I am going through my pictures to add a slide show to the post. Decided on using the plugin called @cincopa, it works with video, audio and photo files and has a lot of gallery options. I think this is the best one to work with my blog in general and for this special post. Have you used them?

Also testing @flock again. I used it a lot in 2008 and got rid of it because it was just too much of a resource hog. I am happy to report, this is just not the case anymore because they switched to using the Chromium platform (same as what Google's Chrome is based on). Mucho más rápido!

Chaz just called and asked if I would like to go to the beach on Jaya's b-day (Sunday #10-10-10) and release Ayden's letters and balloons there. When we were in #Tampa, FL we always went to the water to do so. I have missed doing that, so of course I said yes. I know Ayden will approve and Jaya is super happy about it too. I love how much she loves her big brother, though he is not here in the physical.

I have attached a photo of Jaya on 9/20/2010 (after celebrating my 29th b-day a day early) holding a picture of Ayden and happy to get to take a picture with her big brother.

Oh and good night! I have a migraine so off to bed early since reading and looking at this comp is killing me, I just had to share my enthusiasm about my soon-to-be blog post. Shalom and blessings! http://bit.ly/bsHWta
I cannot wait to be able to sit down and right a blog about our interesting adventures this weekend. Some funny stuff to be posted soon! http://bit.ly/9R3pAQ
We came out to Nag Head Beach, NC to hit the beach one more time. This is our 3rd mini beach trip this year (the year before was nada). I hope next year we can make that number of visits more like 7-10.We got in at almost midnight, did not go to bed till 1:30 am and got up at 6:15 am to catch the sunrise on the horizon. It was beautiful and the nice cool ocean breeze was better than a cup of coffee. We are about to head out to explore... Should be fun :) Have a blessed day my family and friends! http://bit.ly/dAve86

Got up early to get more done and our internet was down. It is back up (obviously) lol. I have to take Chaz to traffic court (yay, not!) and get some training and more writing and graphics done woo hoo, plenty to do! I will leave you with this for now: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you, ~ MatithYAHUW (Matthew) 7:7 http://bit.ly/aZBBWc
