Thanks to a friend a have a large graphic/web/social design project on the near horizon.



With the help of two great organizations we are about to get both of our vehicles fixed next week which would have costed $2600 that we sooo did not have. One we have had sitting for 7 months and still making payments on (no fun). The other was inches away from not being driveable!

Old News For Some | Google Wonder Wheel Is Gone

So it has been awhile since I have written an article that required me to do additional keyword research, until today… I headed over to the Google Wonder Wheel to generate some data and ideas. Hmmm… I don’t see it, nope not there, or there… Aye… Where is it??? (A sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach hits and I think, “Oh no don’t tell me they got rid of this awesome tool with the ‘new’ Google.”)



I immediately type in ‘where is google wonder wheel’ and find this blog post (http://searchengineland.com/official-the-google-wonder-wheel-is-gone-84105) which assures me that my sinking feeling was justified.



Why do Google and so many others take away their most valuable tools? It’s counterproductive. Praying they bring it back, but not holding my breath either! Shame on you Google! It’s time to search for alternatives…

Last week I forgot to share something that while small was pretty significant. I took Jaya to IHOP (it makes her feel special when we go). While sitting & eating a manager said to a waitress, "Smile!" The waitress replied in monotone voice, "What's there to smile about?" To which I said something to the effect of, "How about because your alive, that's a reason to smile!"



She did not hear me unfortunately, but others did. If you think you have nothing to smile about your wrong! Too many people take for granted the fact they woke up this morning. Yahuwah didn't have to let you live another day. You could have not woken up at all. He blessed you with another day! What you do with that day is what matters. Where have all the seeded watermelons gone???

I can still remember when we first started seeing 'seedless' watermelons. Even back then it just did not seem right.



Over the years we have seen less and less seeded ones available.



Not only are seedless watermelons unnatural, they don't taste as good and are less nutritious!



Once again man thought he was better than YHWH and once again he is proven WRONG!



All of my friends and family want their watermelons with seeds, Google shows there are plenty of people not only wondering where they are but trying to find them to buy them.



Seems like these seedless watermelon growers are shooting themselves in the foot. There is an obvious demand for them to give us all natural watermelons back!



It appears from my Google search, we were fortunate to have had seeded watermelons last year (granted few)! However, this year I have yet to see a seeded watermelon in site, not in Ohio, not in Virginia and not in North Carolina.

It's been a sobering #Shabbat. I did not get as much done this past week as I did the week before... Why? Because I derailed from my new schedule. Lesson learned: Schedules are a necessity for success in life in general. I got back on track today & will do my best to stay that way. At least I am derailing less & self-correcting faster. It Hurts To See People Oblivious To Their Potential & Gifts

It hurts me to see someone with so much potential totally oblivious to their own gifts & abilities. They think they are just here, no big deal with nothing much to offer... But when I look at them I see a wealth of knowledge in many subjects that could help others while helping them to provide for their family and have a better, healthier life. It's the most frustrating thing in the world when you extend a helping hand and they turn it away because they do not feel they deserve it, have to much pride or do not realize they need it.

I think this is exactly how YaHuWaH feels about us. It hurts Him to see so much potential not used, to see so many gifts He has given us not even realized... And frustrating when He reaches out to us to help us & we turn away.

Father, please help me to see all the gifts & potential you have given me. Help me to use them for your will & purpose for my life. Use me to help others wake up to the great gifts, potential & abilities You have blessed them with.

A Few New Things I Learned About Google Voice Today

I have been using #Google Voice since the spring of 2008 (when it was still #GrandCentral, which has a way nicer interface). It has saved me a lot of cash over those years.

It has also allowed me to give out one number which can call up to 5 other numbers (follow me system). It has been extremely useful to say the least. Though it is far from perfect.

I really wish when they took over GrandCentral that they would have kept the interface and all the same tools, it was sooo much better than.

So what did I learn new today?

1. You cannot add the same number to more than one Google Voice account. This is a real bummer as I have one setup for personal and another for the new business my partner @LarryRivera and I are creating.

Apparently they use to let you do this but no longer. Why they take away the good features is beyond me!

I will let you know if I come up with any free or cheap solutions to this. One friend @JasonDandridge recommended getting a #Skype Incoming Number.

2. I learned that you can conference with up to 3 other people and record it. This is great for when you need to have a small business conference or don't have 3-way calling enabled on your home phone.

If you ever need to do a teleconference for more people say 250+ for free... Then I suggest another gem I have been using since 2008 too (good year for finding valuable free tools for me apparently, lol) which is www.TalkShoe.com.

If you ever want to know a tool that is either insanely cheap or free yet still works totally great, then just ask me... Chances are I already know a solution or can find one for you. I love researching and saving $$$.

Is Mint The Best Free Way To Manage Your Money?

Good question, one I have been wondering for almost a year and I am FINALLY starting to investigate on.

Mint is a free budgeting tool that allows you to manage your cash, set goals and take a good look at where your money is going each month.

Have you used #Mint? If so what do you think?

If you have never used Mint.com before, what do you use to keep track of your money, transactions and over all budget?

Do you use something different for personal and business, if so what for what?

I think I am going to use @Mint for personal and maybe setup a second account for my business as well.

Though I am not sure I will need one for the biz end since I have a system for our business that covers invoices, time tracking, client management, accounting, etc.
