7/24/14 Grounding myself, sitting by the lake watching the sun set on yet another day we were blessed with oh so graciously... Realizing there's not much more I can take... My soul is restless... It yearns for peace and rest. When I look in the mirror, I'm not happy with whom I see staring back. What does this say, what does that say about me? I'm not talking about physicality, the shalom, the salaam, the peace I seek is much more than skin deep. There's so much hurt and pain buried deep down inside of me. I'm afraid I've failed your test Yah Alahym The One Above All, The Almighty. Help me to heal; to restore my smile, to restore the light that once shined oh so bright from the windows of my now torn soul. Guide me through forgiving myself, so I can restore what has been damaged, so I can move on... Continue to grow... Get back my glow... Simply let go... And let God as I've done so many times before.
