Natural beauty shines from within. I don't cover up my natural beauty. I let blemishes, etc. all hangout. My face doesn't lie, it will show me if I am dehydrated or hydrated, eating right or ate something my body does not agree with, whether my hormones are in check or out of balance, whether I slept enough or not and it shows what's on my mind. My eyes do the same. I use to cover up and pretend to be what I was not. Eventually, I didn't think I was pretty without makeup, it became a crutch. I went sans makeup when my daughter was a toddler and asked why I wore it. I refused to lie to her and told her the truth. It took months to love me as God made me, but now I love and appreciate me more than ever before. Now when people meet me they can take me for face value and see me authentically where I am in that moment. I like that. And th
