Just talked to Chaz, he has been at the VA Hospital in Durham all day. He switched because he felt the care was better than at the Fayetteville VA. He was right, they are taking his complaints seriously & looked at his last EKG which was several years ago & let him know he has dead heart tissue which indicates he may have had a minor heart attack or several. His previous doctors should have already addressed this with him & put him through more tests, which they did neither!Also, found out his chest pains he gets sometimes are related to this, I always tell him to get them checked out, & he has tried but his previous doctors have tried to tell him that it was nothing to worry about. Yeah right! Now he has a heart murmur which he has probably had for years as well.We won't know the full scope of everything until all his tests come back. His next appointment is in a month. I am really upset at his prior doctor's for dropping the ball and not taking him seriously. http://bit.ly/alVuic
