Last night I was working on an awesome project for a long-time client, when I decided I needed a wee bit more energy to keep working... Coffee tends to make me feel dehydrated & is a last resort, so I thought if I make my own healthier version of a frappuccino I could minus the dehydration. I made enough for 4 servings so we would have some for today. I blended up the following: a heaping 1/4 cup of Super Meal RX, 2 heaping tbsp. of TerrAmazon Cacao Powder w/ Maca, 2 cups of organic milk, 2 cups of coffee, 2 bananas semi frozen, about 1/2 tbsp. of cinnamon, 1 tbsp. of raw chia seed, 2 tbsp. raw honey, 1 tbsp. of natural peanut butter, 2 tbsp. of organic acacia fiber, 1 tbsp. of coconut powder since I am out of vco : ( & a bunch of ice. The end result? Yummy, pretty darn healthy & possibly too much energy (no jitters though). Next time I will try it with fresh almond milk, use pure maca & substitute cacao with carob & maybe only one cup of coffee : ) How are you today? http://bit.ly/fp4OLC
