#whatsinyourcup today? I have one of my favorite teas made of hibiscus flowers. I accidentally discovered this powerhouse of goodness in the early Summer of 2012 in Columbus, OH. I was shopping at a middle eastern store off of Bethel Rd. called the Istanbul Market. I was checking out all the goodies when I seen dried hibiscus. Hmmm... I immediately thought back to when I was 4 and we lived in Largo, FL that had a big Hibiscus bush. You mean I could have been eating these things a long time ago? I wonder what it's benefits are. So, like most things I don't know about that are natural.. I buy it and research it at home. (This was before I bought a smartphone, now I research at the store!) Here are some of the many benefits of hibiscus tea: Rich in antioxidants = Cancer Fighter, anti-aging, boost energy, repair damage Rich in Vitamin C = Cold Killer + Boost immunity Polyphenol Flavonoids help with memory, concentration regulate nitric oxide, healthy heart and more. Calms hot flashes Anti-inflammatory Acne Prevention Reduce excess water retention Speed up metabolism Lower cholesterol Maintain body temperature Helps Circulation Restful sleep Blood pressure regulator ... and much more! #hibiscus #tea #healthbenefits #behealthy
